Box Groove Wedge - 685BX Advanced materials and manufacturing combine to create one of our best wedge designs ever. Fluid forged using a soft 8620 carbon steel, Snake Eyes 685BX wedge heads undergo an 800-ton force forging process, creating a softer feel and increased durability.
The wedges have the USGA-maximum groove volume (9% greater than any previous Snake Eyes wedge), by way of expanded groove width. CNC face milling ensures perfect flatness across the face and increases friction between the club and ball. Finally, the tour-influenced sole grind relieves material in the heel and toe for excellent versatility in a variety of conditions
675WC Forged Wedges are versatile and forgiving, with the super-soft feel of forged 1030 carbon steel. The popular pre-worn sole design has more bounce at the middle and toe to enhance play from sand or rough, while there's less bounce at the heel for better fairway play. The face scorelines are CNC milled for consistent precision
Snake Eyes 675WB wedge heads are precision forged from billets of S45C carbon steel to provide optimal feel for a clean muscle back design. An improvement over traditional 2- or 3-step forging, these heads go through a 5-step precision forging process to produce more accurate raw forgings, compact the metal tighter for the elimination of voids and allow for less grinding and polishing to give better consistency from head to head
